got Lana Del Ray tickets. Says concert starts at 8pm… I can't see any where about an opening act. Will Lana be on at 8 or someone else opening?

This would be our first concert since COVID and having a kid so trying to figure out a babysitter. What time can we expect the show to be over?

I remember back in the... old place how people were trying to boost and justify the existence of Artpop. That Gaga's videos and the liner photos were fresh and editorial. Then Beyonce's self-titled album came out ('Beyonce's new album dropped... now'), just like that. I was just listening to "Partition" again today, remembering how we were gooped and how our wallets were plucked. Good times.

I came here to ask if anyone is listening to this. Just about every song is an earworm. Same producer/collaborator as Olivia Rodrigo, Dan Nigro, and you can hear quite a few similarities to her music as a result ("Coffee" is most obvious example of this).

Yet… it looks like it debuted with only 3,000 copies sold in its first week. I hope it picks up a little more when she opens for Rodrigo's tour.

New Charli feels very Charli.mp3, Girl With No Face is extremely hit and miss for me (Off with her Tits and Galina were standouts on my first listen), new St. Vincent feels kinda boring, I kept waiting for it to go somewhere, and it didn't.

Maybe she's just feeling her oats after nabbing her first Grammy, but lately she's been serving pure capital S superstar. She might be the last among the new generation capable of it still.

I want some new/new-to-me powerhouse divas to listen to. Royalan please advise. International and non-English is fine too!

Obviously I have the main girls on speed dial. I loudly sing along in the car to Celine and Barbra and Mariah and Dee Dee Bridgewater and Donna Summer and sometimes "And I Am Telling You" sixteen times in a row (but not the JHud version because I'm sorry that just does NOT hold a candle). Sometimes I wish Jessie J would release all those songs she performed on the Chinese singing competition she won several years ago, goddamn those were so good and she really should've gone that route instead of trying to be a pop girl 😭
