Popeye is the most deserving non-VG character for Smash

1. Popeye was the inspiration for Donkey Kong and, I was told, Pac-Man's Power Pellets (in lieu of spinach)
2. Nintendo made a Popeye video game and it's one of their oldest
3. Popeye works so well visually
4. Popeye is a national goddamned treasure

He'd play so well too! Practically every episode of Popeye ends with some amazing Final Smash material. His biceps could shoot missiles!!

Goku? Mickey Mouse? Nah, Popeye is the perfect non-VG Smash character, and that's alls that he's is.

Goku's like, a nothing character as far as Nintendo goes though. :P Popeye's got that iconic shit. Same with Mickey, though less so. I'd sooner say Hello Kitty or Popeye would be the best picks from the perspective of representing Nintendo history.
