This is the most "deep cut" cover I've ever heard. Thanks for posting it!
I know it's a game song, but I've always liked FamilyJules ft Adriana Figueroa's cover of Snake Eater. I think it's better than the original.

I saw this on my "Up Next" somewhere randomly in the middle of it... Not gonna lie, I clicked on it to hate on it. My thoughts were: "I bet it's one of those pretentious covers where they over sing the song". It only took 10 seconds into the song to win me over.

I know she is with Dolly here, but I prefer the White stripes to her version.
I find the White Stripes version of Jolene to be a much darker version of the song. Dolly's version seems hopeful. Jack's is a more desperate plea. That said, it is still an excellent cover.
^ This version is so good it gave me a renewed appreciation for the original song. Best case for a song cover.

Gonna just say it. I've always hated Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt and Jose Gonzales' cover of Heartbeats.
This is what I came in for -- the whole album is full of excellent covers.

The Hollies - A Taste of Honey; the first time I hear it by The Beatles, I don't know who's the original writer of the song, but I think The Hollies' version is superb.

There's a live version on the Who Cares A Lot collection, but it may have made it onto a couple of the other FNM greatest hits albums that Rhino has put out.
