Take on the role of the Devil Downloaders, also known as Dx2 (D-Two). The Dx2s are people who are capable of summoning and commanding Demons using a special smartphone app.

Basically like any other gacha. Though they're very stingy with giving free premium currency, mostly to avoid rerolling. However, as the whole SMTIV mechanics involve making new demons through fusion, gacha isn't really that necessary.

You can fuse demons you like except the fiend race, though it's a process that involves several months of fusing and evolving. It's a very good gameplay system that manages to retain the essence of press turn and even evolving some of its mechanics. If you want depth you'll have it.

It's also a gacha that doesn't have events like most other gachas, there isn't "limited" shit. What you see right out of the gate is what you get. Content is fully in the game rather than dripfed through limited events, which might or might not be your thing.

Stamina also recovers extremely quickly. You can't run out of Stamina for the first 10 hours and it takes 1 hour and 30 minutes at most to recover all your stamina from 0. Meaning you can play almost indefinitely.

Still gacha means you won't be able to beat whales in PVP, but that's just it
