Kamiya wasn't director on Bayo 2 either - he just gave story input if I recall correctly. And most people agree that 2 was a pretty solid action game even if the more diehard among us had a laundry list of complaints about the combat changes so I wouldn't worry.

Yep. Even if Capcom finally lets Platinum make Okami 2 or Viewtiful Joe 3, Kamiya isn't going to direct it. He might co-direct Bayonetta vs. Devil May Cry with Itsuno, though.

Bayo 3 development is going well and it will probably release this year

that's exactly because of bayo 2 that i hoped that kamiya was back at the helm of the series...

bayo 2 is a "solid" action game, bayo 1 is the best ever made on par with dmc5

my interest in a non kamiya bayo game is pretty low right now
