Save the World is early access of a free to play game. It will be free soon.
Fortnite is free to play. The BR mode is free now and the Save the World mode is in paid early access.
You know exactly what people are going to buy this game for.
Its pretty cool! Even when I took a break from Fortnite StW I'd still log in daily to get those rewards, both for later StW stuff and V-bucks for BR.
My mistake. Still Battle Royale is the selling point and that's free.

No, you were half right. STW is F2P. It's just in paid early access at the moment. It will launch properly, as a free to play game, this year.
I work in the music industry. I went to a showcase festival last month (basically new artists playing to crowds that are 75% labels, managers and agents) and one of the hot new artists played a song about Fortnite. It's definitely crossed over!

I also think the Fortnite bundles are going to be pretty hard to find for however long they last.
Not having a tantrum at all, just trying to make things readable because it seems that many seem to have an issue with evading facts and reality and since I really should't change colors or go with the geocities flashing text codes caps is the only answer

"soon" was supposed to be early this year. Still no ETA in sight so until then it's still a 40 dollar game.
It's a $40 buy-in to the early access phase of a F2P game. I think it's going a bit far to call it a $40 game. I say this as someone who gladly bough into the EA of Fortnite STW day one.
While I agree, it was posted in error. I'm not saying I think anything is going to change before 16th July when this is apparently due out, but they clearly weren't ready to announce it just yet.
I keep on seeing this in this thread but nobody can give a reason as to why? It's the holiday season. Kids will be off school and parents will be on vacation too to be with their kids. It's perfect timing.
This bundle has got nothing to do with that. I doubt they would suddenly stop their business because it apparently affects a small minority.

If this comes to the states and sticks around till November I wouldn't be surprised if it's the best selling ps4 bundle even above the Spider-Man bundle.

When I was a kid I would play a hell of these F2P games. Parents don't buy everything that is available all the time, they normally require good grades/behavior to gift you a new game. That is why these games would be really nice, and that is why I think this kind of bundle can do a very good job selling Ps4's. Everyone everywhere talks about fortnite, same thing with PUBG last year. So basically, I can't see how this is a bad time,well, just if you think that only exist players with multiple consoles.
I'm sure people know its free but you still need a console/phone to play it on.
Even if they do it can still unsettle their thought. They could've gone to buy another console/PS4 SKU but since this one has the Fortnite label on it, they'll go for it 100%.
