Another thing nobody has mentioned yet: when he was still at the company Hermen Hulst openly said they were aiming to release a game every 2-3 years. Unless you're in indie, AA or sports development that's simply not possible with a single team, even if they had all those 400 people on the same project.
I doubt they're 2 full fledged teams though, probably 1 main team working on the next release and then another smaller team laying the foundation for whatever comes after the that.
Im just tired of people misusing terms of true/false. If you say something is false and you know it for a fact please share the information you have which contradicts the statement. If you think that something is unlikely, say that, don't say that something is false. I'm having a go at you personally but it has become rampant recently. Example being that photo of game store register. So many people just jumped on it to say its bullshit or false or any of these terms and there was zero discussion about it. In my opinion it was worth at least a bit of discussion, not because it showed a release date of PS5, or the list of launch titles (to anyone rational it's obvious this was probably just a register of titles they have to be released at some point in the future and that the date is just a default placeholder) but there were interesting take aways like the fact that some of the PS4 titles had retail PS5 releases, if true, how would that work with BC? Or maybe someone with retail experience could share how early do retailers get lists of upcoming titles?
I just want us to have a discussion, this a speculation thread as far as I'm aware, even if that speculation is at times unsubstantiated or unlikely some people may want to discuss it.

I don't know about that either. People Can Fly is relatively large, with three separate studios IIRC. Also, they only just gained independence from Epic so it's unlikely they'd want to be bought out right away. However, I can fully see MS approaching them for an exclusive deal

This one is a lot more believable. It doesn't have a ton of information about what every single publisher is going to bring to the show and it leaves room for more stuff to be shown during the show that won't be in the "sizzle" reel at the end of the show.
It's not uncommon to receive help from the platform holder. ICE and SN systems would offer that support. Guerilla doing so is perhaps a bit unorthodox, but their importance to Sony has grown tremendously this gen.
