I already have all three (I got Dicey Dungeons during its itch.io prototype days), but this is super cool of him.
Absolutely, 100% do not sit on Dicey Dungeons. It's one of the most addictive roguelites to ever grace this Earth; it's pretty much all I played for like a month straight. Absolutely incredible game that everyone should play.

Also noteworthy, watch dogs can be played through geforce now since (presumably) it activates on your linked uplay account so just select the uplay version (will be trying this after lunch)

Turns out it does not run through uplay I think. GFN does not support the EGS version at least currently, which means i have to install the game to play it...

Well, I don't have Temple of Osiris, and Deiland actually looks pretty nice. Sounds good to me.
Does anyone know if adding free games to my account on Epic Game Store gives any financial benefit to the devs, whether or not I actually play it?
I think on those they were paid a flat amount already for making it free for that period. I think Game Pass and PS+ and such work the same way.

AFAIK, the typical financial dealing in all of these cases, also PS+ etc., is that the platform holder negotiates a fixed fee with each dev separately. No doubt influenced by projected lost sales revenue versus boost in player count to sell dlc to, marketing benefit, and so on. Whether you claim it, download it or play it is likely irrelevant wrt money to the dev.
