There may be benefits running the game on PS5 through BC, but that's about it.

Yes. You'll just be playing whatever the PS4 version is but maxed out if it has dynamic resolution or framerate.

It was kickstarted on Fig and they promised a PS4 edition, so they're still honoring that despite the acquisition. No PS5 native edition, but BC enabled. Unclear if there will be any enhancements, but unlikely.

Unless stated otherwise, I wouldn't rule out PS4 Pro/XB1X enhancements.
