Is it yet known whether this is a re-release of the original or a new game this listing is referring to?
Would be cool as it is the only thing I am really torn on after the Bethesda thing.
Oh, I momentarily forgot about the whole Bethesda thing. Yeah, this has to be the re-release. That's okay, though, as I was more so interested in a re-release of the original, anyway. I really hope they include the soundtrack.Remastered re-release i think.
This is MachineGames, doubt ID next AAA project is going to be multiplatform.
Tonight and maybe even then, but probably September or so!So excited to try this for the first time. Hopefully it's announced and released soon.
not happening.
Remaster is nice I guess. Some of the best content is via mods though.
90s era FPS remaining king after all this time? Damn straight it does.
I just viciously hate the term "boomer shooter" because it associates something cool with a label used in a derogatory way towards shitty people. The boomer shooter revival is something I'm totally here for. 😎
Yeah, as I said to Voodoo, I know that's chiefly what he was referring to. Also, I wasn't suggesting all future games in long-running IPs would be multiplatform, just specific cases like this one, where the game in question is a classic title that hit consoles in the past and is being "[re-released] with some sprinkles on top". A bona fide AAA remake/reboot a la Doom 2016 would absolutely be exclusive to Xbox + PC.
Remastered re-release i think.

I hope they keep doing switch though. Pretty amazing to get AAA games like TNC and DOOM eternal on switch. Xbox, switch, PC is a great trifecta of platforms to get id games on.
Useless on PC?
Why should nQuake/ezQuake users switch over?
If they add RT tho... that would be cool!
...why wouldn't this be "cross gen"
