It's a tease, but also a welcome one.
I love their short videos. Hopefully these will be of the same quality as the old ones and also tie into future projects.

QD need to do comedy genre next. I love Dark Sorcerer. I really want them to make it a Discworld-esque games with Dark Sorcerer
Not good enough to be taken seriously as films, not interesting enough to gamers.
Usually they have done them to test their new engines/tech. The Kara short leads to Detroit because gamers found it interesting and Cage wanted to explore "what happen to Kara", I think you are off the mark.

Nice. Is that poll serious? I don't think so! I mean they ask iof they shall release them next week when the game is going to be out or next year while they have the stories already prepared? XD

Isn't Kara concept utilized for Detroit?
I think they can utilize this shorts to improve engine and create possible concepts. I don't think it's waste of money.
They have the shorts done.

I wanted Dark Sorcerer to span a game like Kara but maybe one of the 4 new ones does that. More QD the better.

Some of the lines are a bit over the top, but overall the execution is very good. A suitably chilling and creepy mood. Wonder if Kamski will be the main villain or just a red herring?

The lines are ok,if you take the game like a blockbuster movie,it's not really different.
But yeah the "you can trust me"...ah ah so creepy :p
Plot twist. Real Kamski is long time dead and was replaced by first "human" android.
Kamski is far too good of an actor to convince as a tech entrepreneur.
Some of the dialogue was forced, and the line of discussion was a bit simplistic, but I enjoyed that.

Kamski reminds me of Nathan from Ex Machina. In general I get the feeling that Ex Machina is a movie that will go very well together with Detroit.

Same. I want something like Dark Sorcerer. Do a fantasy take on their games instead of always going for these super serious games they've been doing.

Most techdemo's put out by QD have been turned into games right? So it might very well be that their next game or the one after that incorporates themes from the Dark Sorcerer demo.
