My PC and PS4 both unfortunately suffered power surges on the weekend due to a lightning strike hitting apartment blocks anttena.

My modem has been unable to connect to internet since. I have a working phone line but it can't connect to ADSL2+.

My question is could the surge have done something to the modem, but somehow not made it break the power supply? Like it still turns on just can't connect to internet. The DSL light is flashing and I have resetted it multiple times.

I've seen lightning strikes fry ethernet cables and not the equipment they are plugged into, try swapping all of those out maybe.
