So many people will defend the comfort of racists. And believing minorities who say they are the victim of racism seems to be a huge leap faith for some. You call someone the N-word then you should expect to get punched. That goes for yourself, your grandparents, your children, and anyone you care about.
It also puts the onus for racism on black people.

This happens every day, people get socked for a whole bunch of reasons, all the younger white people know that using the N word to a black persons face is fighting words.

I think deplatforming is good. I think in a case like this you're actually doing the opposite though, since now she's being given a national platform to discuss her hateful views where before she was a literal nobody. If you're going to advocate violence as a way of deplatforming, then I think it only works if you focus your efforts on people who already have large platforms

The word nigger was literally used by white people, as a race, used as justification for inflicting centuries of suffering upon millions of people, who until 50 years ago were still suffering off the back of that word and arguably still are.

I will say that I understand the initial reaction to be disturbed, I mean the end would disturb anyone. The violence we see always does.
Again though, think of it this way, what if she had been berating a disabled kid on a bus and their parent roughed them up after scuffle? The reaction would be different.
