‎The boiler is under steam, the cars are coupled and the conductor calls on the passengers: Everyone gets on for Railway Empire 2! As a cunning entrepreneur, set the course for an up-and-coming company in the early 19th century and develop it into a flourishing railway company. Outwit your competitors as you connect cities and businesses to an ever-growing network of railway lines, bridges, and tunnels. 60 famous steam locomotives are ready to transport cargo and passengers and usher in the historic era of the railway as the engine of the Industrial Revolution – with your company as the driving force. The maps in Railway Empire 2 are bigger, more detailed and more vivid than ever before. The U.S. and now Europe are each waiting to be tapped by you on a huge, comprehensive map, while more detailed maps focus on specific regions of each continent. Opening up these areas with new lines is now much more convenient – signals are now set automatically, bridges can carry up to 4 tracks and the expandable stations have up to 8 platforms. This allows you to focus on important decisions, drive the economy forward and promote the development of cities. Choose from 6 different characters with different strengths and weaknesses the right entrepreneur for your railway company. Play 5 campaigns or one of the 14 scenarios, if you are looking for a challenge, adjust the difficulty level in free play as you like or build the perfect rail network in model railway mode. And to relax a little after work, just hop on one of your trains and enjoy the views of the countryside as your steam horse rushes along the route. ‎*

Oh hype! Played the first one for more than 30 hours on Switch. Closest thing to the Sid Meier's Railroads.

Awesome, I put a lot of time into the the first game even though it was too simple with not much depth. Hopefully they've addressed these issues in the sequel.
