If people use slurs I just block them on XBL so I hopefully don't have to play with them again. I don't mute people unless they're talking constantly (making me not hear footsteps) but it seems assholes love to talk.

That's certainly what it is for some of us. I'll probably crawl back for a little while once Wind Bastion launches no matter what, but my long-term interest is hinging on what they say at the pro league finals this weekend.

I've just been unable to find people to play with that aren't racist shitbags, so I've stopped playing the game recently. It's a shame, the game's a ton of fun. But when you don't do anything to curb toxicity for years, the community's bound to just become completely intolerable.

I'm with you. It personally started for me a bit before, this season and last seaons have brought around a lot of bugs which have soured me. The Halloween event was shit too. And I dislike paid loot boxes. The censorship debacle just added more to the fire. As you said, probably best for me at the moment as when I get into siege I really get into and can find it addictive.

I've hardly played in a month but my wife and I had a baby in October.

Plus Red Dead came out along with Horizon 4 and I needed something I can step away from and come back when needed.

My 5 man squad i always play with has a REALLY hard time defending Coastline. Especially penthouse and billiards with secure area. And set ups or recs on what to do?

No. I don't understand the outrage. I would prefer they not do it, but it's not actually an important aspect of the game being changed here. I understand the desire not to maintain two entirely different versions. Who gives a shit.

Watching the leaked footage, Nomad is going to be pretty powerful, good primary weapons, devastating ability, and definitely the best sidearm in the game, is 2 speed and has 3 shots of her gadget, can be detonated on impact around enemies or used to set up traps. She's definitely nothing like Ash at all and is her own thing, looks like the best anti-flanking attack op so far in the game and I can see her becoming an instant pick on ranked.

Kaid looks pretty balanced, his gadget is up to 3 and is only 1 speed, his weapons seem okay-ish at best, he's definitely not rendering Bandit useless, only thing he got on bandit is his gadget affecting hatchets (which is pretty huge).

I love the map so far from the footage I've seen.

Whoever picks it first. You have to hold the button to confirm you want to take the ticket for it. It's open for all on the team. Obviously in Pro League they just discuss who is going to use it.

Is the 6th pick revealed to the other team or is the changed OP hidden? Pro League is odd that they show all the picks before the match starts.

Ah, I read the switched OP and it's replacement are both hidden.

Yeah that's the whole point. People that were like "Bb-b-but some strats only work if they can't see them coming!' or some shit. So now you get to hide an op. It also lets you adjust if you see a comp that counters yours heavily or whatever.

Kaid's gadget looks powerful. It can go on the wall behind cover and electrify TWO adjecent barb wires. So perhaps one can cover two reinforcements or one of each.

Did they release any other details about the game at the reveal? The Reddit was quieter than usual and apparently they didn't announce the Y4 pass this time, as they have the previous two years?

I wonder if they're switching up the model?

I wouldn't say gadget creep but I would say maverick counter.

I'd say Kaid is both — creepy in the aspects of gadget plus visual design and Maverick counter-ey. Nomad looks more interesting of the two for me, but I'm feeling pretty meh about Wind Bastion overall.

It's good that they banned Lion in PL. That should've happened months ago.

Some of the night maps play different than their daytime ver thanks to visibility issues. I *think* they arent used in Pro League too.

Yeah, people have wanted night maps out for a while now. I tend to agree; some of them are pretty unfair, like Kafe, Chalet, Coastline—as long as their night variants stay in casual. Every mode and every map variant should be in casual, imo. I think ranked should be day and bomb-only though.
