Don't think Microsoft's Xbox accounts have officially confirmed an Inside Xbox for February 5 but Rare did.

Before anyone gets excited, this is more than likely going to only be Sea of Thieves news from Rare, as he stated. He specifically stated Sea of Thieves news.

New Sea of Theives news appearing on Inside Xbox is about as surprising as the sun rising each day. I'm not saying that's bad, mind you.

They might also talk BC, GP and some other games releasing or updating in the near future. MS has marketing deals for many of the games coming out in the next two months. There´s also Crackdown.

I don't get why Microsoft doesn't do these on weekends, or at least at night. Why do they continue to have these in the middle of a weekday when everyone is at work or school? (I'm referring to North America of course).

Because it is during, or in proximity to, working hours for the folk putting on the production.

Not like it has to be watched live. People already invent too much hype for each little announcement, doesnt need a prime time slot.

I think they meant the only Rare news would be SoT related, not that it would be the only thing in this episode. There will be plenty of other stuff, there always is.

If they have them in the evening in the US then we have to watch it at like 4am in Europe.

They did the first one on a Saturday IIRC.

You're right. And I got to watch that first one, but all the rest (except the Mexico one I think) have been during the day when I have to work. Just me being selfish I guess.

Not like it has to be watched live. People already invent too much hype for each little announcement, doesnt need a prime time slot.

As per my edit up there, you miss the giveaways and contests if you work and can't watch live...and i 100% get there are people elsewhere who are missing out if it is on a weekend or evenings in NA. enough said.

I don´t expect them to announce it, but there are many ways to hint it to hype people up without that. Which shouldn´t matter to us since it´s just marketing but, oh well, we´re fans and it does matter lol

I'm not much interested in SoT either (although PvP will probably change that) but the game is gaining significant popularity following recent updates and constantly rising the Most Played charts (Top 20 now I believe).

It has some very passionate fans now and clearly people care about it, even if you and I don't.

Worth a watch if you're a fan of Sea of Thieves. Will be some tall tales to tell after the event.
