Reach Beta, Xbox Disc Beta Test and now this :)
Holy shit, I remember skipping class in high school one day to prowl Bungie.net for beta keys for Reach.
Ended up getting one when Urk posted a shit ton in one thread.

I doubt that's the reason, especially they hinted 'they are looking into options for current owners', I believe it more due to technical issues as MCC came out before PA program. remember PA isn't just 'free PC copy', it also has to include cross save/cross progression.
It already said in the OP that it won't be, but they're looking into doing something for current owners.
No play anywhere? That's no good to me. Not paying (what will be full price) for the game again.

Shit I forgot all about the disc beta. Sold my retail copy of Reach only to learn that a system update bricked the disc being readable. They ended up sending everyone a code for the game. Man that takes me back.

Interested why you would make it on by default. Do you feel there is not a big advantage for computer players that would make the game unfair?
No, but then again i wouldn't expect that for an early test, whether or not they're working on it.

Just to be clear, if we have signed up all that's left is to wait? If so, I'm ready. I may watch some reruns of Halo machinima to pass the time.
I feel like running the tests through Steam should be getting more attention.

Yes I know, which is why I said I hope it comes into effect... as in, when they "do something for current owners".
I mean, yeah, but that way you get he biggest community playing together and the people who really care can still opt out.
