Yep, the supersampling benefits from the higher resolution and the higher quality textures.

Thanks! Sounds good. Wish I could play it at 4K/HDR but it's either play it now at 1080p or wait until I've got a supported TV but have to go on an internet blackout.

Of course. The textures aren't "4K" in resolution just higher quality (resolution increase and otherwise).

... Let me clarify. 4K textures are not a 4K resolution it's just part of what they call high quality assets made for 4K resolutions.

No, it's the Xbox-Scopio tags. Those are optional 4K assets.

X does super sampling by default so yes

Of course, even in 1080p you will notice crisper texture resolution.

In first person you're closer to objects, so higher res textures are better. Example: they did high res textures for GTA 5 on next gen, citing the new first person mode.
