What do people mean when they say they turned it off? I looked and saw no option to do that. Do they mean just put it down to the minimum?

That's the conclusion I came to.....better with HDR off.

I turned off HDR on my XB1X and I think the game looks better.

Playing on a PS4 Pro, I have an option to switch between SDR or HDR right above the brightness setting in the visual settings in the game. Not sure why some have it and others don't. Maybe related to the TV you have or possibly some setting within the TV or console that's hard setting it? I don't know. I have a Samsung MU6300 if that means anything.
