Reminds me of San Andreas, you could roleplay as a pimp, a gang bangers, a cop, Mr T etc etc. I had a lot of fun role playing in that game so hopefully this one ups the bar. It is the one thing Arthur has in his favour so if they nail that then he might be a great protagonist for the game.
I still don't trust Micah Bell
he has the most question marks of any of the gang members shown so far in my opinion

to be honest, i see Lenny being Arthur's closest friend of the gang (not including Dutch) Dutch and Arthur seem to have a father/son type relationship
I think Arthur will also have that same father/son relationship with John
I don’t think the story will focus much on John to be honest. It’s going to be Arthur and Dutch as the two main focus

I think Arthur is trying to quit smoking. You can see how aggressively he is throwing that one cigar in that one scene. Perhaps he is angry at himself for smoking? Will this be something we see unfold in the game?
Also, I think Micah likes to partake in horse orgies. Look at his hat.

I'd imagine the announcement would drop Wednesday for the trailer to go live Thursday as before. Tuesday will likely see another car drip feed for GTA online.

Yeah I would say your prediction is very likely. Whatever the case, the Edge cover is coming soon so it is fine either way.
I am mostly interested in hearing about what is coming back from the last game. Every activity in that game was really good so if they bring them back the game will be good at the very least even if they don't deliver on all fronts.
Didn’t Rockstar announce on a Monday that the gameplay reveal trailer would come out the next Thursday? I’m not saying Rockstar will do the exact same again for part 2 but if they did, we should’ve had an announcement today, right?

Maybe if they spend less time bragging about how progressive they are and more time about the actual game, it would get more traction. 90% of that article was repeating the same thing "RDR2 is centered around white males and ours is centered around Indians!" Like, I get it. We're all impressed. And then 10% was how it's going to have stealth.
Wake me when they're done with their progressive crusade so we can hear more about the game.

I think the big thing with GTA4 is that apparently a lot of reviewers didn't get to complete it in those review events. And the first several hours of GTA4 were pretty mindblowing. It's just that you eventually start to realize how much had been removed compared to GTASA and eventually the excitement many had dies down because of that. Others didn't mind it because they preferred the more grounded nature of that entry.
They might be referring to the incident a few years ago when a freelance writer dished on some goods within Future Publishing? He made note the reviewer gave GTAIV a 9 but Edge changed it to a 10? Also made mention about Rockstar PR being heavy handed at the time paying off labels for good reviews and what not.

Nah cause this is Rockstar's usual timing. There was 4 weeks or more between gameplay videos for RDR and Max Payne 3.
Edge magazine is next week with a possible hands on or making of cover story, they could drop the gameplay trailer next Thursday with the magazine similar to how trailer #3 debuted with first look previews in May.
