You can, as long as you've played less than 2 hoursI wonder. Can you buy this on Steam and easily refund it if it doesn't run sufficently well? Asking because of the Rockstar launcher or whatever the hell it's called.
Then why they put "FREE UPGRADE FROM STANDARD EDITION" lol.Don't think so? Lol
Only ones available atm are Special Edition and Ultimate Edition
Bro do you not have a 2TB HDD just to chuck games on
It's cheap as fuck nowadays
im gonna ride this combo till the wheels fall off
Fingers crossed baby.1080p60fps on close to max settings with some decent AA looking plausible on a 1070.
Interesting that it recommends more memory from Nvidia GPUs compared to AMD though. That's a flip from how it used to be.
This. Albeit I realise they'd need to have a clear disclaimer for the people with shitty setups who don't achieve this performance despite having the 'specs'.I'd like more devs to specify what each recommendation are for, like this:
I could be wrong but I think this is getting a limited physical release sort of like what happened with GTA V on PC? Or at least it seemed like that based off the press release that Rockstar did about the release of the PC versionIt's times like this I wish PC games were released physically as well
rockstar games are always very cpu intensive right? i can't go max settings on gta 5 even though i have a 1070.
Wait what, my i5 4690k will STILL do just fine with this huge open world title? I wasn't sure when I have to retire it but it seems next stop is going to be Cyberpunk and I will see from there.
I'm excited to see how well RDR performs!
That said, Rockstar's done some work on RDR2 since its console release. According to the developer, the PC version will include:
- Increased draw distance
- "Higher quality" global illumination and ambient occlusion
- "Improved" snow trails
- "Improved" reflections and higher resolution shadows
- Tessellated tree textures
- "Improved" grass and fur textures
- HDR support
- Unlocked resolution (4K and higher)
- Ultrawide aspect ratio and multi-monitor support
- Unlocked framerate
this game has the best draw distance of any console game I've played this gen. I can't wait to see the PC improvements.
