If they had something they could or wanted to share they probably would have done it. Don't think that vague statement calls for verification.
Now this kind of teasing is just wrong! Hopefully it is a good surprise for everyone.
Ok so either it's a total outsider wtf pick, or it's a platform or psuedoplatform holder that's getting something out of it (like partial or total exclusivity from one of their competitors e.g. Microsoft or Epic).
That's awesome! This is a weird ass announcement but seems like everyone benefits from this partnership, so good stuff. Excited to see what's next for that studio. Control was so damn good.

I remember playing Max Payne so many years back and just being blown the fuck away by Sam Lake's writing, and thinking "There's no way this guy will get the money to be able to make something like this again." And then Max Payne 2 came. And then Alan Wake. And then Quantum Break. And then fucking Control. And here's more on the way. So wonderful.

That's not due to Sony. That's due to the licencee requiring the game is multi platform assuming they're not seein enough of a profit. Big difference here I would guess because it's not a huge licence that Remedy would own.
Joke aside, if ever a different studio was asked to make a new Metroid beyond Retro. I trust in Remedy.

Well yeah, but that`s a game beeing developed by a first party studio. I doubt Sony made a deal with Remedy just to release a multiplatform game.
Heh, speaking of that, I guess we shall see how they retooled the Control map in today's patch.
