It's that time of year folks, time to roll the dice and see who ends up being good at guessing.
Remember people: most of the rumors in here have to be somewhat grounded in realism/based on previous leaks, do not post obviously bullshit rumors. (Remember, if i can go on /v/ and bullshit my way into people thinking i was a Microsoft insider, anybody can.)

I wouldn't expect many NEW announcements from Sony. At this point we know everything their studios are doing (or studios have recently released something and aren't ready to show anything new). So show us TLOU2 gameplay, and maaaaybe some Death Stranding gameplay. Might be too early for Ghosts of Tsushima gameplay, but who knows?

Microsoft hopefully will show games slated for 2019 and beyond, because right now we know nothing. Everything they've been showing for years are finally coming out in 2018 (Crackdown, Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2). Probably will show Halo 6, but will it be a surprise 2018 game, or likely 2019?

Nintendo, I don't know. Bayonetta 3 could be something that's 2018, or could very well be a year away for all we know. Then of course we'll get more games in the same series. I'd love for Nintendo to show off a fancy new IP that has absolutely no relation to Mario, Donkey Kong, Kirby, Metroid, Pokemon, etc. Something 100% new with no existing characters.

I can see a new Splinter Cell (Open Worldish? Remember the first shown Screenshots from the Double Agent Prototype https://goo.gl/images/YV1eYZ)

and

Dragons Dogma 2 rising from the Ahes of Deep Down (maybe timed exklusive, maybe complete exklusive PS4)

Whats about the rumor from last year about Maya Souls Style Game? I think a new game from From is realistic

Everyone at Sony is pretty much busy on announced titles, expect for GG and Sony Japan who released major titles last year. This year is probably going to be gameplay reveal-aton with Death Stranding, Last of Us 2, Tsushima and Medievil. Sony will probably try and secure some 3rd party reveals like DMCV or RE2 Remake. Maybe even Rocksteady's game and the next Mortal Kombat.

I'm thinking Ubisoft will finally reveal a new Splinter Cell, as well as Divison 2 and Watch Dogs 3.

Oh shit. Is it that time of year already.

Where the hell did rumors of Fallout: New Orleans come from? I would've thought Bethesda would be working on ES6 first?

FromSoftware is confirmed to be making a new game already (we in fact got a teaser at The Game Awards with fire and "Shadows Never Die Twice." and they said they would share more in 2018.) we just don't know if it's PS4 exclusive, Switch exclusive or multi platform. It could be Bloodborne 2 but it could also be completely different.

From what we heard, the most credible thing is that Starfield (like Fallout but in space/ open world space RPG) comes out this year and then ES6 comes out a few years from now. Fallout: New Orleans WAS trademarked by Bethesda but this is thought to just be the location for Fallout 5 (which is in very early development).

For third party, you also forgot Square Enix which is releasing KH3 and no doubt KH3 will be one of the top 5 most anticipated games of the year. You're slacking OP.

Microsoft: Reveals a new Gears of War, Halo and Forza, spends loads of time on a new Pubg map and Minecraft stuff. Other reveals will be attachments like a new stand, controller designs etc.

Era reaction:
fox-mulder.gif

Sony: DMC5, RE2 gameplay, Death Stranding gameplay, FF7r gameplay, long Last of Us 2 gameplay, Thushima gameplay, Days Gone shadow drop, PS5 mini tease.

Era reaction:
fckya.gif

Nintendo: No big reveals, has a 40 min direct and focuses 25 min on labo. Bayonetta 3 trailer. People are still happy with the jolly atmosphere that Nintendo brings.

A few things:

Yes but Sony probably has a couple surprises. We've heard rumblings of a new Crash game being slated for 2019 and that could be PS4 exclusive. We also know that From is working on a new Souls-type game which could be Bloodborne 2.

It's been pretty much confirmed Halo 6 isn't coming out this year by 343 Industries. Microsoft said their E3 lineup for this year is going to be games coming out over the next 18 months and won't reveal a bunch of 2020-2022 games, Phil Spencer said the only time they feel it's important to reveal a game early is if it's a new IP that might need multiple showcases. Otherwise, they want to stick to releasing games before the next E3. We do know about Ori and the Will of the Wisps too, which you forgot to mention which has no date (but I'm guessing is a February 2019 game).

For Nintendo, we have heard from many insiders that 2018 will be a much lighter year than 2017 for exclusives. Insiders including admins have specifically said "There are new games coming out this year but it won't be as amazing as 2017. Nintendo is relying on 3DS and Wii U ports as well as third party to sell Switch consoles in 2018." so their 2018 lineup seems to be:
Bayonetta 1 + 2 (Wii U port - February 16)
Kirby: Star Allies (March 16)
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition (3DS/Wii U port - Spring 2018)
Mario Tennis Aces (Spring 2018)
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (Wii U port - May 25)
The World Ends With You: Final Remix (port - 2018)
Pokèmon (2018)
Yoshi (2018)
Fire Emblem (2018)

And for rumored/leaked ports we have:
- Super Mario Maker (Wii U port)
- Super Smash Bros. U Deluxe (Wii U port)

Outside of a couple surprises, this might be their entire 2018 lineup as insiders have been saying Nintendo is focusing on 2019 being a huge year for exclusives.

Microsoft
- Cybperunk2077 reveal, CDPR has a good relationship with Microsoft, TW3 had marketing deal with MS as well, without counting TW2 as console exclusive.
Sony
- DMC V, the latest Capcom games were revealed in Sony press conference, so yes, DMC V will, hopefully be revealed in Sony press conference.

If they nail both reveals, best E3 to date imho
Not expecting new games from Sony, they will show the PS marketing games and the titles planned from mid 2018 to 2019 or above.

Yes, Rocksteady new game or Dying Light 2

I really don't think that will compare to the hype of the E3 of Dreams (Final Fantasy VII Remake, Shenmue 3, The Last Guardian), personally I was not a huge fan of that conference because a lot of the games had no dates and I don't like seeing CG reveals of games coming out years and years out.

But the general opinion of most gamers is that was the best E3 of all time.

I mean, i really don't care about those games, and we only had one out of three games (and that one was in dev hell for 10 years).
Well okay but people still praised it. Conferences like that are going to lead to disappointment though because Sony has pretty much revealed the entire PS4 exclusive games lineup and there will be no surprises outside of one or two third party ones maybe (Crash and DMC5?). When it comes to Microsoft, we only know this year and nothing else and when it comes to Nintendo, we only know up to part of 2019.

Sony however has had like 12 conferences in this generation, announcing a fuckton of games in each one. They had Shadow of the Colossus Remake at E3 2017 and they had Ghost of Tsushima at PGW 2017. Everything else was known for either multiple years or at least over one year. They've put themselves in this position where they don't have anything to show and I think Sony's E3 Conference will disappoint a lot of people. Not being a hater, only stating the truth, a lot of people want big reveals, not showing the same games over and over again every year.

No offense to you or other PC gamers but the PC Gamer Show is the worst "Conference/event type thing" that has ever came to E3 and the show hasn't gotten better over the years. They seem to get better reveals every year but the conference (or whatever you want to call it) continues being a cringy, shallow, boring, too long talk show.

And that's why i haven't even brought it up. It's the only time in history where i've fallen asleep during an E3 show.

i even stated at the end that it was me that started it, that being said, not everything i said was fictional, stuff like Project Hellfire and the Elite controller stuff was real.

Yeah they were all good guesses on the whole too. Still, I myself "admitted" to it, so I didn't figure anyone else was serious.

ES6 to be released in 2019 and fallout 2020.

No, TES6 will come after 2 BGS games, one is Starfield in 2018, the other might be the new Fallout title.

A solid PC release date of Monster Hunter World

Gamescom for that.

2015 Gamescom --> MGS V PC release date
2016 Gamescom ---> NieR Automata PC reveal
2017 Gamescom ---> FF XV PC reveal
2018 Gamescom might be MHW PC trailer + release date reveal.
