Not surprised at where RDR2 landed, game was divisive. I loved that game but I understand why others hated it.
Take Two as 3rd best publisher seems odd considering how often their practices have been criticised here but I'm guessing it's unintentional because of just counting RDR 2 GOTY votes rather than a separate best publisher ResetEra ballot.
Obra Dinn is my GOTY so I'd put it way higher as it's more creative and compelling than the top 5 but good on Celeste, Frostpunk, Donut County winning a category, and Into The Breach.

Based on points looks like 12 and 13 are Octopath and Shadow of the Colossus respectively, but yeah they're missing as others have mentioned.
Yeah but we were defeated by the The Cage / Astaroth, and that makes sense
Spider-Man doesn't hold much of a candle to Red Dead Redemption 2 (and it was even on my list). ResetERA made their voice on the matter clear and while I disagree with it mostly, I can respect it fine. God of War making #1 is more important.
Also, thanks for getting Dragon Quest XI up there in Top 10 for those that voted. I feel like no one talks about it!

Chuffed to bits that Detroit managed to make it into the top ten. I hope that causes as much of an upset as Heavy Rain did when it got to #6 in 2010.
Probably heightened engagement on resetera community efforts in general since the 2017 voting period would have been very soon after the site launched (I'm guessing).
