For sure that person originally typed people (at people) instead of @posters.
They probably had one of your posts saved under multi-quote and hit "Insert quotes..." without noticing your post was included. They then edited their post and removed it. I've almost done that a couple of times and would have if I didn't read my post again before submitting.
There is within the forums. Click "Filter" and change ""Last Message" to "First Message" within Gaming or EtcetEra.
I get this, but with embedded tweets. I'll always get redirected to the tweet instead of the drop down menu item.

The only thing stopping me from creating a thread was the rule about considering the source of the tweet. After a quick scroll they don't seem dubious but they also don't seem to have a history with this stuff? Regardless, I'll probably post a thread in an hour or two if we don't hear something.
