Video Game Awards is around the corner. RE2 remake is the highest rated game this year. They'll gonna add something small(er) to push this game back into our minds and into GOTY nominations. Clever Capcom, clever...
Looking forward to whatever this is. I also realized there's a couple achievements I never completed, so I may have to brush off the dust and survive the Sheriff's scenario.

One of my biggest knocks on RE2Remake was the lack of DLC. Huge missed opportunities across the board on so many levels. My fingers are crossed for something decent.
Wasn't expecting another batch of DLC (still haven't gotten around to Ghost Survivors) but I'll gladly take an excuse to play more of that game.
I want this to be another crazy weird mystery like beginning hour leading to the announcement of the next game.
Weren't there rumors of an official randomizer dlc mode pre-release? I think they might've come from Dusk Golem making the claims a tad more legitimate, seems like a likely candidate for what this might be.
I would love to see a sort of Canon Mode - a revamped version of the game designed explicitly around showing how the Raccoon City incident "actually happened" with full internal consistency. No character choices - one character, probably Claire, would be the one who officially got there first. The two would fight different Birkin stages, Claire would be chased by Mr X before he is attacked by Birkin and then Leon would have to deal with an injured but still unstoppable version. New story events could be added to help smooth things over.
Actually thinking about it, I would prefer a Marvin campaign over Ada's story, or more HUNK stuff.

It's funny when people say that whenever any game have an update after ~1 year "hint toward sequel?".
I was just thinking about this. We know Capcom is there with Resident Evil (with Project Resistance but still) so we could see an announcement. I doubt they'd wait until TGA to announce anything if they're already making changes on Steam.
I don't think this is worth a separate thread, but it's also Capcom, so I figured I'd post here. A friend of mine showed me that apparently DMC5's Steam store page was updated to show "Multiplayer" and "Coop" tags. First, this achievement, then that page update, could Capcom be cooking up some announcements?
Are you sure that hasn't always been there? The game does have limited co-op already.

Huh. It could be them adding it because of what's already in the game, or it could be meant for something new and the store page was updated too early. I guess it could go either way.
