Ha ha, it's all good! I can only hope that the first two games are due for the "Remaster" treatment next.
But I always liked how Dante's route in that game shed some light on where Kamiya likely would've gone with his version of the story. Like how Eva's spirit was in the Amulet and was the means for how Dante lived through the demon attack that nearly killed him. Hence, as Mundus-possessed!King Blue put it, she was always just as much his enemy, all along.
Ditto how Alastor was always "Dante's real pal", and they just had to work out some of the sword spirit's abandonment issues.
Troy would be great as Dante and can actually do age appropriate voices without sounding out of breath sitting down.
If it gets to the point where his bs is hindering the business of the production company, you can be sure he'll either be ousted or the company's talent will move on without him.
It's not debatable that a lot of people love Dante. Though I'm a Nero fan myself.

I'm conflicted and I feel bad saying that. I e-mailed him and did my absolute best to explain to him why some of the things he's said may have hurt people and while he apologized to me for offending anyone he insists to me that if I know the full context of the interview, I'll understand his true motivations and that he's for uniting people.
I dunno, I shouldn't give him the benefit of the doubt, I know that, too many people do. But I'm just not sure how to handle this situation because he seems to just not realize the gravity of his BLM and MeToo comments. I want to get through to him but I don't know how.
I will probably duck out of this conflict for now. I respect and encourage you all to press on but I don't think my hearts in the right place to reasonably engage in this at the moment.

The original framing is that Capcom wouldn't care about this because it isn't a big enough offense. "Well, he just defended pedos/white supremacists" isn't really a good PR statement
