I thought it was a return to form. Much better than the last 2 style wise and tidied up a lot of loose ends. Also just the right amount of Riverdale crazy.
So I take it we're all dropping like flies - new episode tonight The Red Dahlia just aired and no comments on Era! About to watch now so will report back.
I imagine I'd be lost after skipping the last four episodes of stupid.Yeah guys thought it was fantastic also. A really slick and cool film noir-esque take on Riverdale that was almost hypnotically good.
Riverdale back on form. Anyone who's dropped the show should watch this new one. Would probably get you back on-board.

Identifying Riverdale, yep, that's Riverdale. All you really need to know is Archie got attacked by a bear out in Canada, somehow didn't die, then came back to Riverdale super emo and pissed everyone off, and then Hiram got shot by a mysterious unknown sniper.
That's a universal sentiment. After S1 the show got a double episode count, and the showrunner started doing other things. You can identify the exact moment the show fell apart; when he jumped ship to work on Sabrina.Did they people who enjoyed this week's like last week's? Because last week I nearly jumped off this hilariously stupid train.
I even rewatched the first episode of S1 again recently to reassure myself that I'm not crazy about the precipitous decline in the show's quality.

Usually Riverdale still manages to be good when Aguirro-Sacasa returns to write an episode. Tales from The Darkside in S2 was phenomenal, and was like what I wanted Sabrina to be.Which is a shame, because Sabrina isn't so good to justify the decline in Riverdale's quality. I'd rather have one great show than two okay shows.
To be honest, I think doubling the episode count did more damage than Sabrina.
Quality of Riverdale is directly related to the amount of Cheryl. The more Cheryl, the better the show.Man this show is so bad now. Also if you want more screen time on it just date one of the actors it seems. Reggie is still in more of the show than Cheryl
the parents have had more screen time than she has and she had a 1/3rd of a episode just for herQuality of Riverdale is directly related to the amount of Cheryl. The more Cheryl, the better the show.
I definitely know not to expect anything from the show at this point lol.
How can the main character still be so pointless and annoying 3 seasons in?
Probably for the best. When I saw the spinoff summary I knew she would move. She's really not doing anything on the show. Actually outside of the core 4 no one is really doing anything much.Someone might jump ship to the spin-off, and I can't blame her

She's an Archie-verse character.
Sounds bleh.She's an Archie-verse character.
Fashion model in NYC. She and her fabulous artistic friends all trying to live their dreams in the big city.
I want less Sex in the City and more Twin Peaks.
Riverdale fell off a cliff and Sabrina was mostly mediocre, so I don't even know why I'd give a third show from these hacks a try.
But you love the threads about them.Riverdale fell off a cliff and Sabrina was mostly mediocre, so I don't even know why I'd give a third show from these hacks a try.
Stockholm syndrome?
