The scene with the parade got me in Episode 1. Poor Fred, he deserved better from this town. (should have been elected mayor over a fucking Lodge, for example)Episode 1 really didn't do anything for me but I wasn't expecting it to. I knew Riverdale had to address Perry's passing and, well, it was cute and definitely Riverdale style, but it's just not what I'm looking for out of the show. It was a nice diversion, but I wanted the crazy to start again.
And episode 2 was promising in that regard.
But, uh, this thread is dead. I guess people really did give up. At the going rate of ratings decline, the show could be in trouble by the end of the season if there isn't a turnaround.

after writing her as gay on paper only, poison ivy and hawkeye they ran out of shit to do for her when they can't make her topless every few episodes like Betty and VeronicaWhy does Cheryl have her brothers corpse? Why is she talking to it?
Why even is Cheryl
Lol. This post actually makes me chuckle because half of these characters have nicknames that resemble antihero's namesafter writing her as gay on paper only, poison ivy and hawkeye they ran out of shit to do for her when they can't make her topless every few episodes like Betty and Veronica
Just watched this episode. Holy shit what the fuck?! That was the most absurd, bullshit episode of TV I think I've ever watched holy shit what

I just don't even know what this show is doing anymore lol At least it was dumb and entertaining whereas most of season 3 was just dumb.Think of it as an homage to over the top 70s B-movies and recognize the true genius of Riverdale.
I'll suffer through a lot of things, but "Devil Wears Prada, but with teenagers" is not on that list.
My wife still watches this, but I've checked out so I gleam the plot while buried in my phone. Why exactly is Veronica being nice to her dad again? She's been feuding with him for a season and a half, and suddenly they're ok now. Did I miss something?
I searched for an OT and failed to find one. Considering the fact that it's a musical series, along with my recent decision to say screw it and finally drop Riverdale outside of episode summaries, I didn't see it.

The thing that I hadn't been aware of aside from it being where they sent Josie (found that out through the commercials) is that it's apparently set five years after Riverdale.
I'm going to laugh if both of them leave but Hiram is still around next season.
