What is RKG?

Three best friends playing videogames and having a laugh while doing it.

A note from Rory, Krupa and Gav:
For the last three years we've been making a show called Prepare To Try. What started off as a ridiculous one-off project that nearly killed us quickly became our favourite thing to make. In that time, an amazing community around the world grew around the show – we're continually amazed by the reception it receives – but we always made the show in addition to our regular jobs, and there ended up just not being enough time. So we left our jobs to make that time.

We're setting up our own channel, RKG, which will be the home of what we make and the first show we're making is a spiritual successor to Prepare To Try, which we're calling Retry

It's our new long-form Let's Play series, and first-up is Dark Souls 2. The new season will go live on January 26th, and of course, Finchy's coming too.

But having more time, and more freedom, means we'll be able to do more. More one-off episodes, more live shows, and bigger, better community events than ever before. We'll also be able to do things we've never done before, like regular livestreams and podcasts. Ultimately, we want to spend more of our time growing this community because we think it's something pretty special and unique. Patreon is a way of making that happen. We want to spend as much of our time making videos and podcasts we love for you, but to do that we need your support. Don't worry – we're not asking you to pay for a show you've been getting for free so far. But if you want to help us, and be a part of growing RKG and Retry, now you can. In return, we've come up with a bunch of rewards that we hope you love.

Don't know if I can continue watching this, they seem to hate the game so much.

DS2 is my second favorite DS game.

Think I'll wait for the next feature.

They really need to upload more often. I understand they're just starting, but once a week isn't good enough. Even keep Dark Souls 2 to once a week, and do other stuff, but just upload.

Regardless, they seem to be not into this as much as the other games. I'll keep watching though.

They did a Jurassic Park themed playthrough with Krupa and Gav, while Rory took time off after his father past away. They've been back filming together since September, socially distanced in their studio, trying to finish their Sekiro playthrough.

If they can keep the current filming routine in place, then Demon's Souls Remake will most probably be next, but London has become a Tier 2 city now, so the stricter lockdown restrictions may prevent that from happening and they'll probably go back to streaming content.

Just dropping in again to say I'm really enjoying the Resi 3 playthrough.

I just recently bought RE2 for 15 quid and playing through it myself. It's a joy, despite having rewatched the Retry of it more than I care to admit.


Personally I love their Resident Evil videos and think it's some of their best content. That and Untill Dawn. Spookies in general I guess.

Agreed. They're known for their Soulsborne playthroughs, but I've actually preferred their Resi content overall.

Their Hitman content / 3Ways has been really entertaining recently.
I'm hoping this means we get alot of Hitman 1/2/3 content.

I get them wanting to wait till they can properly do demon's souls but its kind of a bummer that its gonna be so long till it happens. I hope we get more spookies soon.

Both currently airing on YouTube, and I for one am loving the spooky content. The Quarry is a few episodes in and has a been a particularly good show so far.

I've really enjoyed the Back with the Bakers series, there's been some great moments throughout the episodes (there's a good few more than the two I posted here). As far as I can tell they've covered all of VII's DLC bits/episodes now.
