ROTS vs TLJ

I still don't understand why we're comparing these two movies. A better match-up would be TFA vs TLJ.
I like TLJ, but I picked ROTS. I find the latter film to arguably be the most enjoyable SW film.
That doesn't mean it's better than the OT mind you, just on a pure entertainment level.
See everyone? That's the kind of reasoning people will use to justify voting in RotS.
Proof enough that TLJ is just so much better.

I love TLJ to absolute bits. ROTS is a fun time, immortalized by the memes, but The Last Jedi is one of my favourite movies ever.
RotS is actually important to Star Wars mythos with a great dramatic throughline and is a wonderfully entertaining B movie. TLJ is uneven, often illogical, frustrating for its place in a trilogy, and drags a LOT.
I'd watch RotS again with friends, to laugh at/with it if nothing else. You'd have to pay me to rewatch TFA or TLJ.
But that doesn't make it a better movie.
Nor is TLJ not necessary to the mythos.
That's actually a good way of putting it. The acting in the SW prequels elevated from just plain B-movie bad to "TV movie of the week" quality with ROTS.

Clearly the quality of these films are comparable.
You know it actually says a lot that this isn't even the climax of the second film and yet it has more emotional weight behind it than literally any fight in the PT, especially the Obi-wan vs. Anakin fight which was supposed to have three films worth of buildup and emotional weight. Hell, even the choreography was better by default because unlike the PT, all the supposed examples of bad choreography are super zoomed in nitpicky gifs and not....literally the entire frame of the shots. 🍵

Come on that's not fair. You picked the worst scene in ROTS versus one of the best scenes in TLJ.
If you notice, Kylo is blocking high and he attacks low so Kylo stabs the saber into the ground to block the attack.He is striking to kill here ?
You need to pay attention to the movements dude.
Alot of the pt fights had needless twirls and pointless embellishments.
