Tweet and account have been wiped.

Looks like Bandai Namco is helping with development once again, and it seems to have a new rendering engine.

He claims to work in Japan at Nintendo.

Finally proof of whether the game is new or not. Wonder how different the engine is going to be (Please make it faster)

This is basically about the only information that we have gotten between the teaser trailer and E3 which is kind of sad.

Hopefully he doesn't loses his job over this and also the engine manages to impress but over anything make the game feel fresh!

I think people will be pleasantly surprised with the new Smash Bros games visuals because it’s one of the few WiiU games to run at 1080p native meaning there’s a lot of untapped power on Switch for everything from better character models to improved lighting and much more complex stages.

Right now he's being held in an interrogation room at Nintendo.

FUNKY KONG: "Ahh OK, groovy dude. So you wanna play good monkey/bad monkey, huh?"

TIAGO: "Wait, who's the bad monk—"

*Tiago's head hits the table*

*Cranky Kong emerges from the shadows behind him*

If he left BN in August of 2016, that means Smash Switch has been in development for less than two years. Does anyone know how long the total dev cycle on Smash 4 was?
~2.5 years. March 2012 - October 2014. Didn't start till Kid Icarus was finished at the beginning of 2012.
