is Destiny 2 new content development winding down or over at this point?
Expectation is for a Rise of Iron sized expansion next year.

There's the annual pass which has been said to be the size of the first 2 expansions but without the "cinematic campaigns". Also rumored to be another expansion next fall.is Destiny 2 new content development winding down or over at this point?
Just wanna mention to everyone here per their leaked contract this is the last destiny game they are going to be making. D3 is gonna have 3 DLCs, and 2 small ones.
This will be the final game they work on. So it makes sense for them to push hard on a specific aspect of it.
I just know theyll find a way to ensare me again and ill regret it, again. For the third time.
Destiny 2 has 3 minor expansions left for next 10 months and likely a major one next fall.
Nope. D3 is still a few years out. The annual pass content for D2 doesn't even start until December. Then there's almost certainly going to be a Forsaken sized expansion again next Fall.
So does this mean that Destiny 2 will only have a two-year lifespan? Or will we see a third year of updates in 2019 and then Destiny 3 in 2020?
Dammit, was about to post this.
Probably just means more grindy stuff to appease all the streamers they invited to their studios to help them fix D2.So by RPG elements do they mean stuff like dialog trees with NPCs in towns?
In Forsaken, they started adding more optional dialog and that kind of stuff, and people seem to like it, so I wonder if they will integrate that.
It was but they changed it as destiny 1 took one year more in dev before it launched so it cut into the time for the other games, and then the DLC was released irregularly.

Where we are going we don't need balance
Maybe Destiny 3 will finally deliver on the hope of actual massive worlds to explore, and not just fancy "hallways".
Walking around the EDZ or Nessus just feel so fake and artificial. It doesn't feel anything like an actual world in a RPG.
