Gravity Rush 2 Remastered Is Coming to PC and PS5 This Summer - Rumor

Gravity Rush 2 Remastered is currently in development for PC and PlayStation 5, and will release sometime this Summer

- "Expect some news in May" ,

- "If everything goes along with the schedule, then it's going to be a late summer release",

- "it's also coming to PC at a later date",

- "GR2R will have a proper photo mode, at least they are testing it",

- One of his friends is a playtester testing the game, ("Maybe he will post some screenshots when he gets too drunk again"),

- "as far as I know, they cut out the online stuff like dusty tokens. You just get the online content via a new short side quest".

I genuinely cannot see the logic in a delayed platform release strategy for a port of Gravity Rush 2, of all games. Nobody is going to care.

Just put it out on both platforms at once and be done with it.

Modern Sony remastering a Japan Studio game? I'll believe it when I see it
I swear if I get quoted by someone mentioning DeS...

That's surprising. Sony has always gave me the impression that they didn't give a crap about Gravity Rush. Great if true.

Game unfortunately isn't great.

Kat is lovable, the mechanics are great, the world map is beautiful, but the mission design is deathly boring. Almost every quest is "do x 3 times".

Go here, then here, then here.
Collect 1, then 2, then 3.
Fight this, then that, then this.

Series has so much potential.

I assume they're porting GR1 as well on PC
Considering Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 aren't on PC... don't expect Sony's PC ports to make sense. They seem to want to port the latest shiny thing only, and ignore old games. it's frustrating.

GR1 can be emulated on PC though, I tried it earlier today and it seemed to run well with Vita3K

Guess it makes sense to do this if that Gravity Rush movie is still a thing. I think GR2 was mostly a victim of timing because iirc some really incredible games came out like the same week.

I'm hoping this release sparks some interest. I hope it comes bundled with Gravity Rush 1, even if it's just the PS4 remaster bundled in.

I think a Gravity Rush collection has a much better chance of catching attention compared to just the second game, but what do I know

I really loved the first game but the intro to 2 was such a slog that I dropped it.

Might give it another go soon.

Seems to be on point for Sony to port 2 to PC and not do the first.

Would love to be wrong and we get a collection with both games.

I was going to say "Well it will be nice to have a version of the game that has access to its online functionality for longer than a few months" but lol I guess not.

Still, if the unlockable content from that is part of a new quest, that's still pretty neat.

They really could've just unlocked the frame rate lol. Whatever, give me all the 4K/120 for this.

Can't see myself bothering with a remaster when I've already got the original on PS4 - thought the original rendered somewhere above 1080p on PS4 Pro anyway? Cool for PC owners though.

This is one those "I can't believe it's not a collection" situation. Seems like a no brainer.

Awesome, been holding off playing GR2 for the first time due to the currently available version only being 30 fps/SDR, even on PS5

Isnt GR2 already on PS4 ? Not quite sure what they would be even be "remastering" about it. 4k/60 ?

Unless they let you import save data, I guess I'm gonna have to platinum this one too...

Any word on the first game?

The Carly Rae Jepsen of gaming. The public said no but somehow Gravity Rush always stays there.

I will buy. Never played the first but the second game charmed me so much with its art direction and open-world to explore. I wouldn't shutup about it to friends for a few years, trying to get them to try it.

I have my physical copies of both games on PS4 and of course the original Vita release. These games are so charming.

I'll buy GR2 on Steam for sure. Will be amazing on PC. I wonder why Sony continues their weird trend of selling sequels on PC while ignoring the originals. I think you will gain much higher appreciation for GR2 by playing the original story first.

Quite surprised. Wasn't it a massive flop when it came out? (correct me if I'm wrong). Then again a PC release could do wonders for it.

Doesn't Sony know that PS5 is backward compatible or why are they remastering all their PS4 titles? except Bloodborne lol

Why not remaster content that isn't available on the platform?

This was the first time 2B was in another game, right?
