The next State of Play is scheduled for November 1, 2019 and Death Stranding, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and The Last of Us Part 2 will be the main protagonists of this event.

Sony is planning a large Playstation Meeting for the presentation of the new PS5. And it looks like the main games of the event will be The Last of Us Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima.

It also hints at the beginning of the planning for the next PSVR 2 among the leaked information.

I was talking to a friend about that, if the game comes out in February then we definitely should get a new trailer by that date or even now at Gamescom, if not maybe in december if PSX 2019 and the game launching in May ends up being a thing

Doubt #2: An internal communication e-mail to employees would not have elaborate explanations and reasons as to why a first-party game is not featured in a marketing reel showcase to that detail. These kind of stuff are need-to-know only.

It will very likely still be a PS4 game (it was noted as one in the financials from Sony), but maybe a Zelda Breath of the Wild situation?

It looked liked a cross gen title since the moment they announced it, the complete silence around the game also fuels that. TLOU 2 is definitely cross gen too and it's beyond dumb thinking otherwise.

yeah, framing this as an email makes it so obvious that it's a fake, there's way too much unnecessary info to be in an email sent to many people.
