His description implies that he only worked on the VR mode of AC7, which I think is exclusive to PSVR (someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that). It seems strange that a lead designer would miss that Ace Combat is coming to Xbox One and PC and put a previously unknown game on their projects seems irresponsible for the position.
Not that I am trying to police your "feelings" or anything, but this is a game we know literally nothing about. We don't even know what this job listing means, if anything. It could be minor outsourcing work. So maybe cool the jets a little, lol.I really don't have a good feeling for Metroid Prime 4. If it was just another new Metroid, sure, give it to Namco, whatever, but when you specifically call it Metroid Prime 4 there's a pretty distinct direction, art, and design you've set an expectation for, and to have production move not only to a different studio but all the way across the ocean, I dunno. I just have a feeling it's going to be either a really, really paint by the numbers producer driven experience or something that is very, very different.
Aint BN Sing a new branch, no way Nintendo will a litteral no body handle their Franchise revival game

If it means anything, NateDrake hasn't locked the thread yet.
No. Ive have seen mulitple linkedin profiles say that. Especially Ubisoft.Wouldn't you just say "Game X (PS4)" or "Game Y (Xbox One, Nintendo Switch)" instead of "Exclusive to..." ?
Thanks. So far I've seen the Singapore studio credited on semi-recent titles produced by Bandai Namco's main Tokyo development studio, like Tekken 7 and Tales of Berseria. I don't know if they've run a project themselves (yet) or if that's necessarily even what the studio was created for.
Quick, everyone check his LinkedIn!So that it shows you have experience working with that platform. I do the same thing.
Justly so! >:(I feel like if Ridge Racer gets funded by nintendo, the main reaction will be "Why isnt nintendo footing the bill for a new F-ZERO instead?"
Ah, gotcha. Strange wording that seemed a little on the nose was all.No. Ive have seen mulitple linkedin profiles say that. Especially Ubisoft.
Well, ZhugeEX's twitter bio says he "covers the digital games market in China and SE Asia." Singapore falls thereWell Zhuge did hint months ago that Bamco was working on a first party Nintendo game that was the 4th entry in a series and appears that smash wasn't the one he was talking about.
The title is specifically AC7 VR though which could be exclusive to PSVRAC7 isn't exclusive though. When they announced it they only confirmed PS4 and then later on they confirmed XB1 and Steam.
We don't know. Why not Retro though? What's Retro working exactly? I hope it turns out great though
Why not Retro though? What's Retro working exactly? I hope it turns out great though
Maybe it could be due to them not revealing any information about its development or developers? That is a good point though
They mean they are unannounced as the developer. Panic Buttons Linkedin still had wolf 2 listed as unannounced weeks after wolf 2 was announced for switch
damn now I want this
It seems so, but it PS4 AND PSVR which doesn't make too much sense if they are only working on the VR portion and being a lead designer. It is an easy mistake for someone who is only has cursory knowledge of the game since the game has mainly been advertised for Playstation and the official website doesn't list the other platforms on the first page but, someone who is a lead designer on it should realize it is multiplatform. His description implies that he only worked on the VR mode of AC7, which I think is exclusive to PSVR (someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that).
He is talking about the vr mode....yea, the moment i saw it say Ace Combat 7 as a PS4 exclusive all credibility went into the shitter.
Metroid Prime 4 is going to be interesting for sure. Can another studio really out do or be on par with what Retro did?
This bit is true. His description implies that he only worked on the VR mode of AC7, which I think is exclusive to PSVR (someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that).
It is correct though. The VR part is exclusive to PS4 and PSVR like it saysyea, the moment i saw it say Ace Combat 7 as a PS4 exclusive all credibility went into the shitter.

As a side note, the confusion around Ace Combat 7 is kinda sad and really speaks to how badly Namco has marketed the thing.
Sure, but why? Presumably the people looking at LinkedIn profiles are professionals, not random strangers on the internet you want to impress.Do we have any way of proving this LinkedIn profile is legit?
Couldn't someone fake this pretty easily?
There's no standard for listing these things; one way is as valid as another.Wouldn't you just say "Game X (PS4)" or "Game Y (Xbox One, Nintendo Switch)" instead of "Exclusive to..." ?
Based on what? lol
