You aren't the only customer, some people will have bought the game for just the campaign
Honestly if I had to put money on it.
MW4 is the 2019 game,
however i'd go so far as to say MW2's MP will be the basis of MW4 with OMA out and Chopper Gunner and Nukes more balanced.
Probably even a couple classic maps in there to further connect to MW2(Highrise, Terminal, Sub Base, Favela, Estate)
No need to saturate that market so they did the campaign to get people hyped and lead up to 4 which would basically have the MP and more.
It also would have filled the lack of a BO campaign.
So no MP at all or is it sold separately?
You KNOW MW2 is a serious threat when you have to gimp it so that newer games stand a remote chance.

Not of this is confirmed. Hell, It's been a rumour for so long now and nothing has come of it. I don't even think It's real.
I'm guessing it's probably about sending a message.
I only play CoD for it's single player though so I'm the LAST person who should say that.
