I'm listening... I don't really play call of duty games but Blackout was the most fun I've had in a battle royal game in awhile. If this is true they might win over another purchase from me.
256How many players did MAG (try to) support?
This reminds me of that.
Depends how "New" the engine is.I can kinda handle 100 players, but a 200-player battle royale mode?! This is going to suck for low-end rigs. :(
I thought PC was cross play too?Cross-play, remember? Xbox One and PS4 players will all be playing together in one single multiplayer pool when the game launches. This won't be an issue on console but PC might suffer.
Did people turn on blackout or somethingThe fact that IW said no comment to BR is kind of a dead giveaway that it will be in. Given how people currently feel about Blackout (not good), if there was no BR I feel like IW would come out and say "Nope that isn't in our game, we're focusing on blah blah blah" but instead said this.
I never really got into Battle Royale's, but does 200 players make it sound better?
One of the thrills for winning a BR match is saying you were the best of all the players in the match. Saying you were #1 out of 200 people would be kinda cool.I never really got into Battle Royale's, but does 200 players make it sound better?
They've said the game will have a massively blown out Spec Ops mode.
Because Call of Duty's sales numbers have proven time and time again that millions upon millions of people are willing to fork over $60 every single year. Activision has also proven that they have no idea how to monetize a game post launch. Is Activision really going to make people pay $60 every year for the latest COD battle royale? Why not just separate battle royale from the mainline COD games and support it for more than a year?
