If the leak is from a casting script it wouldn't really inform us if the story is the primary focus.

idk I'm not a canon expert but I'd say the TR2013 trilogy downplays the fantasy stuff relative to the previous games, even though there are still supernatural elements

this leak doesn't answer what would've been my main question, which is whether or not this is in the same continuity as the previous trilogy. time to bring back the dual pistols regardless
