Please give us MK12. 11 was so so so good. The visual design in that game was some of my absolute favorite of any game.

"Mortal Kombat: Onslaught, officially launching soon on mobile devices in 2023."

If we get another trailer for Onslaught, I won't be mad.

I imagine it was less a matter of fear and more a matter of courtesy to fellow fighting game devs. Or a reveal not being ready. Maybe both.

They're the biggest franchise after Smash Bros. They need to fear nothing.

But it makes sense that they would plan their own reveal anyway.
Or maybe a bigger showcase (sony or microsoft) is right around the corner. Boon also hinted at technical problems. Maybe warner forced them to switch engines, which slowed everything down.

I'm pretty sure they said that we wouldn't be getting an announcement this year, so they could be preparing for a January reveal for MK12.

Ed said a while back that he wanted to give SF6 some time to shine first, so maybe that's why they're waiting to reveal MK12. Tekken 8 probably won't be out until 2024, so NRS is good on that front.
