I hope we find out how he lost his midichlorian counter and thus could never used it on Luke.
Why is everyone so concerned with the one aspect of the film that's probably the most certain?
Wouldn't surprise me if they were stupid enough to recast Ewan despite him being perfect. Why is everyone so concerned with the one aspect of the film that's probably the most certain?
Agreed. I didn't want a Boba Fett spinoff, or Yoda, or Han Solo, or a butchered mess about the Death Star plans being stolen. An Obi-wan movie with Ewan though? I am all in. However, it does hinge heavily on them getting Ewan back.
Are they seriously going through with this? Who in their right mind would want a movie about Obi Wan, he's not special.
The real question is not if McGregor will reprise his role (of course he will) but whether or not Liam Neeson will make an appearance.
We might finally get some closure on that character...

I want a spin off movie for every character that has ever been in any Star Wars movie ever.
Nah, Lucasfilm are aware people liked Ewan in the role. If he's up for it and his comments over the years have suggested he is, he'll do it.Wouldn't surprise me if they were stupid enough to recast Ewan despite him being perfect.
Becuase of the prequel association.
I want it more than Solo or Boba. Are they seriously going through with this? Who in their right mind would want a movie about Obi Wan, he's not special.
I absolutely hate the prequels, but seeing these two together again would be great. If they follow in Rogue One's steps and pull off the minimal references to the inappropriately designed architecture and technology from the shitty films, while bringing those characters back... That could be fantastic!
I'm half expecting the movie ends with a fairly somber tone, but Obi Wan is looking down at a young Luke (who doesn't see him), and says 'We still have hope'.

ppl love obi and Ewans portrayal. Are they seriously going through with this? Who in their right mind would want a movie about Obi Wan, he's not special.
Because otherwise it will be Shia LeBouef. Why is everyone so concerned with the one aspect of the film that's probably the most certain?
Why? Does he offer 2 for 1 specials or something? So, semi-crazy idea, why don't they just get Ewan to direct the movie himself?
This is probably the most requested SW spin-off, your finger is pretty far from the pulse on this one.Are they seriously going through with this? Who in their right mind would want a movie about Obi Wan, he's not special.
Neither do I, it's not happening.
