Yeah, it was announced similar to SF6. Next Gen Xbox Series only , Old Gen PS4 and 5
They did the same thing with Street Fighter 6. Most likely part of a deal with Sony
It was originally announced for current gen only, PS4 announcement was a little while ago.

They still would've mentioned the Xbox One version. This was likely a mistake on the part of Amazon.
Possible, but they most likely would have clarified that fact later after the TGS announcement. It's rare that something like that is left hanging for awhile
Possible like the ps4 they had to take extra time determining if its going to run acceptably on xbox one before committing

I assume if runs on PS4, it shoudn't be hard to put on Xbox One too. That is why it would be a weird omission
Probably no need to post the same tweet twice when it shows up in the embed of the later tweet. Also it makes sense, probably was always planned for PS4 and wanted to make sure they did not commit until they could make sure it they could get it running? Just a thought
They wouldn't announce an Xbox One version at TGS when there is such a small number of XBO owners there making a japanese version not worth it.

It is understandable withholding the announcement of the last gen version(s), but announcing the PS4 one without the XB1 makes zero sense.
It is using the RE Engine so I'm sure the old consoles can still run the game just fine. It is a very scalable engine after all.
Because RE is a shooter I'd think it would be more likely to see an Xbox One release, but we'll see
Games that are coming to Xbox One were at TGS, so it's not like they just ignore its existence lol. Besides, if that was the case, usually something like that is clarified later in a press release or something. And there is a precedent for this since SF6 is Xbox Series X/S with no Xbox One version. So, it wouldn't be that weird really.
Didn't know that. But is there a specific reason for it? Technical limitations because of Xbox One VCR model (like DF calls it) or just some deals between Sony and Capcom?
