In for water type (as always), definitely my favorite of the three looks wise. But there's a very large chance these are fakes as others have said.
Sorry to say that this meme died when they made a wrestling fire starter and gave it Fire / Dark type.
Game Freak has said in interviews that the reason they were designed that way was because GameBoy's limitations.I want gen 1 eyes back. Angled, not round. It'd make these look so much better.

TBH that eye design looks pretty bad nowadays.
These don't really look like Ken Sugimori designs, especially the lemur. Diverging this much seems odd.

Normally I'd agree with you but the bunny is cuter without those eyes.
I honestly think that about every new gen, but end up liking them later on.
Well reasons to be real:
1. Sugomori art style down pact.
2. The characters/letterings are well translated.
3. Emphasis on details (the Bunny tail being removed to show key detail on neck fur)
4. All Pokémon are in some form are habitats of Australia (if assuming the lemur is the Australian Lemur-Like Ringed Tail Possum) and Australian like continent has been heavily hinted at.
I'm an expert at recognizing professional art. It was immediately obvious to me that the SM leak was authentic. These? These are fake; the lines and color feel like the work of an amateur.
Hmmm the designs seems to pick ideas from other Pokemon. But I won't be surprised it's real. Hope it's real though the are very cute.
Nah he drew a good amount of characters for Gen 7. He was the lead after all.

Of course that doesn't apply to the Pokemon though. But Ohmura is gone now so I think Sugimori may step back up.
I'm assuming they're fake because I love all of them and I honestly haven't had that with new pokemon designs in a LONG time.
That's not Sugimori style. He didn't draw Gen 7 Pokemon either.
That's Ohmura style and he no longer works on Game Freak.
There's a weird mix between kanji and katakana.

that one felt immediately fake to me personally and wasn't a fan of the designs.
Totally agreed on the cuter aspect, I just think it looks more "monsterish/pokemon" with the angled eyes.
