RuPaul's Drag Race Season 11 |OT| Two Number Ones

I wish another comedy queen would be as well rounded as say Bianca and make it to the top, but this stale ass finale format is so lipsync oriented it works against queens like that. Yvie was very cool, and so creative, but really not funny; that Whoopi Goldberg impression, woof. Of the four they picked, sure definitely Yvie had the most to offer overall, but Vanjie was like spinoff-worthiness levels of funny all season and they treated her like a sideshow because they favor lipsyncing look queens.
Like I recently went to a drag bar here in SF where they were reproducing Sex and the City episodes with all queens playing the women and it was hilarious, and so is the Paris is Burning documentary they love to reference, and so is RuPaul, and the show, and Ladybunny, etc. Laughing is such a huge part of drag, and I just don't get life out of drag couture, no matter how much it interests Michelle Visage, who's Jersey-ass, villain-in-a-porn-parody look should disqualify her from trying to play Project Runway every week.
I mean it is what it is, there are lots of aspects of drag and people get what they want to get out of it but I just feel like there hasn't been a funny winner since, what, Bob?

If we're counting All Stars, Monét is a club queen and Trixie is very much a comedy queen. In fact, the challenges for All Stars tend to be acting and comedy focused.
But, regardless, I think you'll see what you want if you follow the Drag Race UK. Club/comedy is all they do over there. The idea of pretty and pagaentry and athletics and lip syncs very much started and is centralized in the US. It seems like only Brazil/Latin America's drag culture is anything like it.
A Halloween episode may or may not be coming. Fun.

Where can I find AS5 rumours? I scourge reddit for them like every day and haven't really found anything on it this time around. For AS4 I knew who was on and the order they were eliminated like 5 months before it was announced lmao

I'm excited to see what Mayhem could do this time. Such a disappointing show from her before, especially considering the hype around her for years leading up to her appearance.
Really excited for almost all of those names on that list, but god I really dislike
Derrick Berry. I hope she gets eliminated early. I only know her from her season, though so idk if she's gotten less obsessed with her own mediocrity.

She's amazing live and one of the sweetest people who takes time our for fans. In Orlando before her gig last year she hung out at the Bear Den at Parliament House with a couple of friends before her show, and not only invited me into their little circle but made sure to buy me drinks for my birthday that night all evening.

I think it's hilarious how social media behaves during filming regarding secrecy and what not.... here's a story but be careful, I will post some rumored spoilers about an elimination on AS5 so read at your own risk:

you know I changed my mind and decided to delete the text there. Those "spoiler dragrace" reddits and youtube channels and whatnot are out there weeks after filming and months before the show even airs and nobody brings that sort of discussion here because it just causes anxiety and it's a rather dickish move.
I mean, if some fucker comes and teases me with "here's your first eliminated queen, go on click the spoiler tag if you wish", I'd be annoyed as fuck, and would probably click just to make sure my top queens are in the game, specially if I had been waiting like 9 or 10 years to finally see Ongina or Jujubee in all-stars, I'd need to know it's not them.
EDIT: that being said, to anyone who read the spoiler, it's nowhere near confirmed, I just rechecked the instagram post and there's a big probability it was all fake

Tbf I don't mind knowing the cast and stuff like that, because in the end it's all stuf we'll know before the actual season start. But everything else I wanna be surprised.
I mean modt of the time you can guess who's gonna go far on All-Stars, but who wasn't gagged when Manila was eliminated during AS4?
I feel like this cast is better than AS4, lets hope the season shows that. Prediction:
I'm gonna guess that Shea will get Tatiana'd and not make the top 4 and Blair or Mayhem will be the first to go home. The cast also makes me feel we'll see alliances between the old queens and the new ones. It's unfair to speculate before seeing a single episode so who knows.

I CANNOT believe Tyra wins this because she is the most unlikeable thing I've seen on television in a long time.

But her RUNWAYS never once did she have a bad runway. And she only really flopped in one challenge, when she was safe thanks to immunity and didn't seem to care enough to put effort in.
