Well then.
Well then.
Dead, written out like Glynda, or new voice actor?
Edit: I do want to say good on RT for taking decisive action and my thoughts go to all those hurt by him.
It was more that she became kind of an un-person in RWBY media. If CRWBY had plans for Glynda, they would have recast her. They did with Ren and Mercury.
There's also no way to just dump Qrow because he's needed for Atlas. Writing him out would also be really awkward considering where the finale left off.
Glad RT have taken their stance and acted on it.
Yep. They'll recast Qrow for sure. Maybe someone like Steve Blum will step in?
Steve Blum definitely sounds (no pun intended) right to me.
But yeah, if any domino was going to be the first to fall for Vic, it would have been Rooster Teeth. Vic's a D-Lister (F-Lister now?) who's acting career was going nowhere fast (Especially in relation to his contemporaries like Troy Baker), while Rooster Teeth is rubbing elbows with Hollywood and SAG-AFTRA now - Both of which have established precedents on not tolerating behavior like Vic's.
The big question will be if Funimation and other Anime-dubbing companies cut him or not. Funi's run by a Fundie and has consistently "No Comment"ed and pretended nothing happened every time a credible allegation against Vic came out in the past decade.
Wait what happened to Glynda?
I don't see why this is a problem, though.I really wish they did the character justice. The writers could have made him a tragic character ala Killmonger. Instead, everyone ended up hating the bastard.

I think it comes down to what story they were telling.
T'Challa's story in Black Panther was searching for the answer to the question "what kind of king will you be?" To that end, a character like Killmonger was important to the story because he forced T'Challa to question the wisdom of the old kings, and take a more global view.
Adam is not a primary character. His role is to push the arcs of Blake and Yang. If Blake's arc was to examine her thoughts on extreme measures in favor of social justice, a version of Adam like Killmonger would work. But that's not her arc. She figured that all out before we met her. Blake's arc is about regaining her sense of self-worth and moving on from her past after the things she did with the White Fang.
Yang's arc is about discovering true courage. She started the series with bravado, but that was about believing that she could beat anyone. She needed to learn to stand up to opponents she knew could destroy her.
These arcs didn't really call for a morally complex, intellectually challenging villain. What they call for is an unrelenting monster.
Like a lot of plot points going from early volumes to post-V3, Adam felt like one of those things that someone thought would be cool but turned out to be fucking terrible post-implementation. I can't express how fucking relieved I am we're never going to have to hear Adam's whiny edgelord bullshit ever again.I really wish they did the character justice. The writers could have made him a tragic character ala Killmonger. Instead, everyone ended up hating the bastard.
that's not how I interpreted that sceneThen they immediately build up back up and imply he's brutally reasserting his control of the White Fang
that's not how I interpreted that scene
he tried to reassert control, the White Fang members told him to fuck off and mentioned Blake, so he had a temper tantrum and killed them
then, because he's a piece of shit, he blamed the whole thing on Blake and went after her

Yeah that's how I took you hear Adam trying to take control in his video before the Fang told him no then you hear screamsthat's not how I interpreted that scene

Steve Blum seems like a good pick. Qrow is somewhere between his Wolverine, Tom (Toonami) and Spike Speigal performances.
Well, Vic's out and that sucks. Not in regards to Vic, screw him and good on this shit finally having consequences. Sucks for Qrow, my favorite character. Vic did a great job voicing him. What a waste of talent on a creep. I feel pretty secure that Qrow is safe as a character. He's too major in the story to vanish, so he'll most likely be recast. Who are likely candidates to pick up what Vic dropped?
You know I could see that.I've seen some people suggest Quinton Flynn (Raiden from MGS, Axel KH3)
He has a similar voice to Qrow
Speaking of Wolverine, Cal Dodd would absolutely be able to do Qrow justice.Steve Blum seems like a good pick. Qrow is somewhere between his Wolverine, Tom (Toonami) and Spike Speigal performances.
I mean this has clearly been a transition volume and I don't think they'd stayed it'd be anything otherwise. This season was the Final Fantasy XV to last season's Final Fantasy XIII. Could have been better. Could have been worse. At least on the path to a return to form. The problem is that the plot was stalled out. There was some backstory given but we haven't really advanced forward at all from the beginning of the season.
I'm pretty certain when both series are finished gen:Lock is gonna be the better show overall.
I mean this has clearly been a transition volume and I don't think they'd stayed it'd be anything otherwise.
I mean I get people have different opinions but this has frankly been the best Volume yet to me.
6>3>4>2>5=1
They have this major event 2 seasons ago and everything changes then the plot stalls out for 2 seasons. That's uneven pacing no matter how you look at it. Plots should escalate gradually until they reach the climax.I mean this has clearly been a transition volume and I don't think they'd stayed it'd be anything otherwise.

i doubt it'll keep my attention since I'm so hooked on Magic, but I'll give it a shot.Came out of nowhere, but a free RWBY deckbuilding game came out today. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1017080/RWBY_Deckbuilding_Game/
I'm happy for you guys.I had a very long post written up weeks ago in regards to Bumblebee being canon but I think I'm gonna hold off until next volume when the ship goes into max speed. All I'll say right now is that I'm full of emotions, and words simply can't express how happy I am that it finally happened. Having to deal with doubters and haters for years was exhausting beyond belief. To finally have it stated, clear as day, that they are a couple... I just want to cry. lol
Take me to the hive fam, we made it!
Unlikely, given how they seem to be making new sprites for the Arcana Heart character. On another note since Blazblue Cross Tag Battle is getting a season 2 I'm hoping we'll see at least one more RWBY character.

RWBY (Red/White/Black/Yellow/pronounced "Ruby") is an animated web series produced by Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth Productions.
Long before the beginning of the series, the world of Remnant used to be covered in darkness. Mankind was born into a hostile world dominated by monsters called the "Grimm". Humanity's future was at first bleak, but due to the discovery of "Dust" they were able to drive back the Grimm and create an expanding civilization. At the time of the series' start, the world is in a state of peace. In order to safeguard against the Grimm should they one day return, various academies were created to train combat specialists called Huntresses/Huntsman.
The main characters attend one of these academies called Beacon, situated in the Kingdom of Vale.
Main Characters:
Ruby Rose - Ruby is one of the four main protagonists of the show and is introduced in the first episode. She wields a High-Calibur Sniper-Scythe (HCSS) called Crescent Rose. She leaves Signal Academy to attend Beacon with her older sister Yang after being extended an invitation.
Weiss Schnee - Weiss is the second character introduced and wields the Multi-Action Dust Rapier (MADR) called Myrtenaster. She attends Beacon at the same time as Ruby and is also the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company.
Blake Belladona - Blake is the third protagonist introduced and wields the Variant Ballistic Chain Scythe (VBCS) Gambol Shroud. Blake attends Beacon, however most of her past is unknown and she keeps her distance from others.
Yang Xiao Long - Yang is the last of the main protagonists to be introduced and makes use of the Ranged Shot Gauntlets, Ember Celica. She is depended upon by her younger sister Ruby and pushes her to be more outgoing at Beacon.
