They really haven't showed RT perf numbers, all comparisons seem to be just resterization with no DLSS, so we'll have to see.

So the 6800 is a 3070 for 80 bucks more?

The 6800 XT was nice for 50 bucks less than a 3080 with comparable performance.

not exactly the Ampere killer I was expecting, but the 6800XT seems like the best of the bunch. the 6800 and 6900XT with stipulations make that a wait and see

The 6900xt might topple 3090 at raster, but RT perf is where's at, and they haven't showed that.
I have a bad feeling about this.

The 6800 looks like it was designed to compete with the canceled 16GB 3070.

Looks like they're officially nipping at nvidia's heels.

Hopefully it won't take games forever to get DXR support in and fully up to speed.

6800 is more expensive and more power hungry than the 3070. Huge pass. Good thing I wasn't expecting much.

Nvidia better get their 3000 series supply right. Cause the people sick of waiting will jump on theses easily.

pretty good, i think that they priced the 6800 a tad too high, aside from that the cards look great and the performance is really good.

Pretty interesting and tempting raster competition to Nvidia's offerings.

Nvidia is the preferred card for games that do RT / DLSS, but those titles are still only a handful right now. DLSS is just not available for the majority of upcoming titles.

If you're a user who wants extremely really fast raster performance and you feel like you want to wait another generation or two for RT performance to mature across the board, AMD seems the way to go. Maybe you have a 4k/120 display and want to prioritize that performance over RT - that's a perfectly understandable position to have.

not enough without DLSS equivalent and a look at RT perf imo

they might actually sell really well though if their partners can produce enough since Nvidia dropped the ball hard there

Radeon hype cycle strikes again. Not that it matters, since GPU demand is so high none of these will be available for any length of time.

I feel like AMD missed the mark on the lower end. The RX 6800 is compared to the 2080 ti, but we know that the 3070 is actually the better comparison.

3070: Starting at 499
RX 6800: Starting at 579

I think nvidia won here when they delayed the 3070 reviews. The 3070 is the king for the next generation in terms of value. On the flip side they crused the 3090.
