Perhaps, though it's really not that hard to simply "play" a lot of games if you have the means and interest. Beating/completing/platinum etc. are a whole different story.

I played 6 games in just the past few hours (Red Dead Online, Celeste, Verlet Swing, Midnight Club: LA, MGR: Revengeance, Nioh) and enjoyed my brief time with all but one of them.

It's like ordering appetizers. Sometimes you only want to taste things...whether it's completely new, something you're familiar with, or something you gave up on before and want to try again.
