They most likely don't. Or if they do, they don't think it matters.Y'all saying Moral Kombat do realize that the series legit does not exist in Japan, right?
Heh...it's outright banned. The games don't release there.
None of those are fighting game characters.Ori or Cuphead or Rayman or the main protagonist from Hollow Knight or somebody from Shin Megami Tensei. All franchises are represented on Switch, would be cool to see them all in Smash. Hell, it would even go with Conker and Minecraft guy.
My bad, didn't read carefully.
MK isn't banned in Japan.Who I would truly want? Scorpion
But I know that might be a problem due to being banned in Japan.
Nightmare
Would be my next choice, but, I wouldn't want him in strictly because of Namco already having a rep.
So, my true option would be Sol Badguy
I feel he's the next logical step for another fighting game character.
i'd legit delete my nintendo account and open a new one if a MK rep gets in.Posts like this is what makes me want the characters even more. Give me Terry moments pls

Are Siegfried and Nightmare the same person? (I last played SCIV, my lore is rusty.) I wonder if they could make it a two-in-one character with a transformation gimmick, like how Zelda and Sheik originally transformed.

It's not officially banned, but not a single game in the series has ever released there.
I dare somebody to come up with a better case for a character than the Doom Marine (I don't like calling him Doom Slayer).
The version of MK we see in the West, is banned from release in Japan. The games can only see release if a censored version is put together. NRS didn't make one, so as a result, MK11 was never released in Japan.
I don't think that's accurate.
