Not seeing the point of smaller sticks, but it's one of those things that should be tried before judged. Otherwise looks like a very safe controller. Surprised they bothered with the touchpad, still.

It will certainly have gyro for PS4 BC, imo. Death Stranding uses it.

There have been plenty of good uses for it. It's infinitely better than just having a "Select" button, imo.

Because they want it BC right out of the box. One controller for all things. They don't want people to have to plug in a DS4 for PS4 games and a DS5 for PS5 games.

I honestly end up liking it a lot whenever it's used and it also functions well as a trackpad. You can map an absurd amount of stuff by splitting it into quadrants and adding swipes, etc.

Dunno how I feel about smaller sticks.

Well, that's a dual shock, for sure. It lets me hope DS4 will be compatible with PS5, I hate mandatory accessory upgrades because "features".

Seems like the only way to resize certain windows requires it so yea, I'm glad they kept it.

They probably kept the trackpad for BC (for the two games that used is as more than just a button).

And it will be excellent for navigation on PC. :)
