Aaron Webber said that it's not a sequel to any previous game.

I hope Sumo fixes the issues with Transformed, such as the bad physics, weapons and tracks that when on too long.

So not a sequel to Transformed. Now it remains to be seen if it's gonna be Sonic characters only or perhaps more. But this is way too little, this is nothing. At least expected a (cg) trailer. E3 I guess?
